Mechanical Wave Propagation Device
I am designing, building, and programming a dynamic Shive wave machine, a mechanical device that lets us test varying material properties in space and time as a wave travels through it. My job is to prototype the device and analyze how accurately it reproduces the geometries the theory calls for.
