    Robot Field Service Technician

    May 2026 – Present

    Service and repair of commercial robots on various customer sites, currently Miso Robotics Flippy fryer units. All maintenance and repair happens in the field, and the unit is expected to go back into service the same day.

    TARGET Intern

    Jun 2024 – Aug 2024 · 3 months · Batavia, IL

    Wrote the C++ motion firmware for a multi-axis arm designed to clean superconducting RF cavities in spaces people can't reach. Tested and verified the full command path before handing it off.

    Youth Engineering Camp Instructor

    Jun 2023 – Aug 2025 · three summers · Chicago, IL

    Taught 9–13 year olds to design and cut their own parts on laser cutters, 3D printers and CNC machines, with an emphasis on communicating ideas and managing scope.

Mechanical Wave Propagation Device

WPI Major Qualifying Project · started August 2026 · in progress

I am designing, building, and programming a dynamic Shive wave machine, a mechanical device that lets us test varying material properties in space and time as a wave travels through it. My job is to prototype the device and analyze how accurately it reproduces the geometries the theory calls for.

The Shive wave machine part-built on a workbench: a row of pendulum arms carrying circuit boards mounted along a torsion rail, with further arm assemblies laid out in the foreground.

    Lead Volunteer Robotics Coach

    Mar 2022 – May 2025 · 200+ hours · Chicago, IL

    Coached three VEX Robotics Competition teams of refugee students from Burma, Afghanistan and Syria across four competition seasons, from idea generation and testing to fabrication and competing.
